It's time for another edition of our tips and trick where we present you with a few helpful bits of information which we hope makes your everyday computing tasks just a little bit quicker & easier.

Moving a Window without the Mouse

Did you know that if you click Alt+Space and then the "M" key, you can move whichever window is in focus (i.e. active) by then pressing the arrow keys?

You could find this tip comes in handy if the title bar is no longer on the screen. This may happen when you change screen resolution for instance.

Colourful Emails
Don't you think it would be good if emails from certain people stood out more so you could quickly see the important ones in the long list of emails in your inbox?

Well, with Outlook, you can have emails from certain people coloured when they arrive so that will certainly make them stand out.

All you need to do is, select an email from the person you want to stand out and then either click the Organize button in the Standard toolbar or click Organize in the Tools menu option.

The Organize feature will appear at the top of your mailbox where you should then select Using Colors.

It's pretty straightforward from there. It will show you who the message was from that you've selected. All you need to do is select a colour and click Apply Color.

Select All Alternative
You probably know that pressing CTRL + A in MS Word (and many other applications) selects the entire document's contents.

But, perhaps you prefer using your mouse rather the the keyboard wherever possible.

Another way to select everything in a Word document is to move the mouse into the left margin, hold down the CTRL key and then click.

That'll select everything in the document so you can do as you please with your selection.

That's it for this month. We hope you find these tips useful and if you did, please share them!
