Give your Office Assistant a Holiday First, go to the Office Assistant's options by right clicking on him and choose Options from the menu or just click on him and choose the Options button in the window. Next, select the Options tab. T hen simply uncheck the checkbox beside "Use the Office Assistant" in the top section and click OK. That’s it! Your Office Assistant is now on holiday. What if you decide you want him back? Easy. Click Help in the file menu and then "Show the Office Assistant". He’ll be back from his holiday all ready to help. Did You Know? Microsoft is doing this because the products within these Windows operating systems are outdated. They also pose higher security risks to customers who still use these versions. If you’re still using Windows 98, 98SE or ME, we (and Microsoft) would urge you to upgrade to another version. The most secure choice is currently XP but Microsoft is also hoping to release its latest operating system called Vista later this year.
