If Internet Explorer displays a yellow information bar near the top of this window about protecting your security, click on the bar for options and select Download File...
When the following window appears, select Save to download Media Investigator to your computer.
*** IMPORTANT *** To maximise the number of recoverable files found, save Media Investigator to a drive other than the drive where you've lost your files.
After the download of MI_Setup.exe is complete, go to the folder where your web browser saved it and double click on the Mi_Setup.exe file to install and run Media Investigator.
You can also choose the Run option to automatically run Media Investigator's installation progam. Please note that your web browser will likely save a temporary install file to your C: drive, so only chose the Run option if you have not lost files on your C: drive (or the drive your web browser is configured to store temporary files to).
After installing Media Investigator, simply go to your computer's Desktop or Start menu and click the Media Investigator shortcut to begin recovering your lost files and pictures.
